Salary: Up to £30k basic, Year 1 OTE circa £50k-£55k
Location: Manchester & Northampton
Reporting into: Business Development Manager
About the Team:
You’ll be joining a passionate, driven team of sales professionals within an exciting and innovative R&D tax consultancy. Our team focuses on bringing creative tax-saving solutions to businesses across the UK and Ireland, supporting growth through research and development (R&D) claims. With our office locations expanding to Manchester, Dublin, and our Head Office in Northamptonshire, there are huge opportunities for both personal and professional development.
About the Role:
This role offers huge potential for a driven and dynamic B2B sales professional, account manager, telesales agent or an existing Business Development Executive looking for a fresh challenge. As a Business Development Executive at CBTax, you'll use your sales, relationship-building, and negotiation skills to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them. You will join an award-winning tax consultancy with big plans for growth, offering massive opportunities for development and progression.
In this Role, You'll:
- Proactively make outbound calls to potential clients, introducing CBTax's innovative tax solutions.
- Work alongside Business Development Managers to set appointments and drive sales.
- Handle inbound leads with enthusiasm, ensuring that no opportunity slips through the cracks.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, nurturing relationships and ensuring they receive the best possible service.
- Strategically plan your approach to generate 1-2 qualified appointments per week, contributing significantly to annual revenue targets of £500k-£750k.
- Keep client data up-to-date and accurate, constantly refining our CRM to ensure we have the best information available.
- Identify and qualify new leads, always on the lookout for the next big opportunity.
- Handle general administrative duties, ensuring data accuracy and supporting the team.
We're Seeking Someone with Experience Including:
- Proven background in sales, account management, or business development.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage comfortably with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
- Methodical, organised, and reliable, with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly motivated to hit targets and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work autonomously, managing time and priorities effectively.
- A full driving license and reliable car for attending prospect meetings.
- Sector-specific experience or R&D-related experience is advantageous but not essential.
