A day in the life of a Delivery Director at CBTax:

As a Delivery Director you will lead and inspire a dynamic team of Associate Directors, Delivery Managers, and their teams. You’ll work closely with our COO to align delivery strategies with our operational goals and growth plans.

Reviewing key metrics and project updates from your team is key. You’ll ensure that all client engagements are progressing smoothly by identifying any potential risks and swiftly brainstorming creative solutions to mitigate them, guaranteeing that our clients receive exemplary service.

You’ll dive into hands-on problem-solving, addressing any blockers that the wider team might be facing. Your role as the primary contact for client escalations means that you handle challenges with confidence and poise, working closely with both your team and clients to find effective resolutions. You strengthen relationships with key clients, discussing future projects and ensuring their needs are met.

Throughout the day, you’ll provide mentorship, offering guidance and support to your team, building a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Your mentorship helps enhance the capabilities of the Delivery team, ensuring everyone is aligned and motivated.

There is also a focus on strategic review sessions, where you and the team analyze delivery outcomes and metrics, driving predictability and preparing for future demands.

To be considered for the role:

We are looking for someone with proven experience across multiple client sectors, with extensive background in a Professional Services business.

You should be skilled at enabling highly skilled, cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems and have demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment.

Prior R&D Tax Credit experience and a deep understanding of the tax claim process will be preferred
